Loading ...So, wondering where we have been? We’ve been planning a new idea that will benefit everyone. Right now the site is completely in Flash, which creates several problems, the most notable being: Slow loading/response times and very limited space to work with. The new idea would keep the chat/userlist/cams in Flash, but everything else accessible outside of Flash. What does this mean to you? Well..
- Much faster loading times and faster response times
- A lot more room to work with (no scrolling with Friends, more functionality with Browse Users, much richer profiles)
- A completely new, rich chat community: More options for showing you what YOU want to see, many more ways to find Friends and keep in touch
- The ability to view Profiles, Messages, Friends and more without having to be in the chatrooms if you don’t want to
- More compatible with slower computers and less bugs
We will soon be offering an open beta for all of our users to test the new sites and give us input, and it will be posted here as soon as it’s available.
Here’s another draft of our new app, which is slightly different than the first one. Keep in mind the colors are all editable, so you can pick what theme to use and we will have default themes for each site. It’s not final in any way, but what do you think? Do you prefer this style instead of the first draft?

- Fluid layout – The app will resize to fit your screen and give you the most space available for viewing cams, profiles and anything else. This also means our app will now be easily usable on netbooks and smaller monitors.

Idea: Ability to drag/drop items to the sidebar to show you what you want to see and nothing else. For example, you could pin your Online Friends to the sidebar to see who’s online, pin your Favorite Rooms, pin Messaging Center if you want quicker access to send/receive messages and more. What do you think?

As we’re working on the new user interface for the chat room, we are always looking for more features and ideas from you. We are creating this chat room to be fun and enjoyable. Don’t be shy and tell us what you would like to see added to the chat room, removed from the chat room, or any new feature that our competition has that you would like to see here!

We will soon be offering a closed beta for some of our members. This comes at a great time, as we will soon start development of a brand-new application with the main benefits of simplicity, compatibility and a very intuitive interface. Too often our users complain about new functionality that they don’t know how to use or don’t want at all; beta testing will allow you to preview the full app before it’s released and easily give us your input and report any problems, which is something several users have asked for. More details about the new app, and how we will handle the beta process coming soon. If you could change one major piece of functionality with the current app, what would it be?
Tomorrow all free users will be able to try out Private Chats! It’s limited to two per day that you can initiate which will let all you free users try out this functionality. Of course, you can still PVT freely with premium members, mods and admins or upgrade your account to get full functionality. What do you think?
We added this quick PVT Chat icon to the userlist with the release today. You can click it to instantly start a PVT Chat with that user, instead of having to view their profile first. What do you think?
A decent amount of users don’t like the “Latest Member Updates” feed that takes up the bottom of the sidebar. People want to know what their friends and others are up to, but most complain that it’s too distracting. What do you think? Below you will find a draft of an idea we had, that would replace that area with “My Profile” which would allow you to quickly edit/view your profile and view your Feed in a new popup panel. What else can we add to this area to improve your experience?
